Saitam is based on a Japanese tv show called Saiyūki, more commonly known to western audiences as Monkey/ Monkey Magic (which is itself based on a Chinese novel Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en)." Oh-ahh-wah-ahh-ah!" (merged with above quote in Steam, then said separately as in mobile).Considering the fact that Saitam was released alongside the Temple of Evil endless stage, he is unsurprisingly tailor-made for getting far in it without necessitating the use of gnome shop items.By staying in battles for extended time, players will have an easier time getting Saitam to Level 10. Divine Nature allows Saitam to stay in battles longer.Do note however, that Angry God does not affect minibosses and bosses. In the Steam version, Angry God last for 1 extra second after he stops using it.However, Saitam must stay rooted in place for the ability to work even if an enemy is in melee with him.It allows towers and chokepoints to completely dominate crowds and severely weaken large foes caught in the crossfires it also compensates for Saitam's lack of group damage and crowd control prowess. Angry God is an amazing skill that affects every enemy on the map.As the cooldown of both skills are 20 seconds and 15 seconds respectively, it is important for players to keep track of cooldowns to make the best use of Saitam's single target potential.Monkey Palm is great for nullifying the abilities of dangerous spellcasters like Savants, Bluegales and Blacksurges. While it can be used as per normal on weaker targets, it can be seen as an overkill and a waste of both skills. Tetsubo Storm and Monkey Palm are great single target skills to damage and disable a chosen enemy, when micromanaged properly. The cooldown of the skill is 20 seconds, however due to the nature of Angry God's vulnerability, great care must be considered to avoid getting Saitam in an awkward position instead of performing Spinning Pole.Players should take note Spinning Pole only does it's full damage as enemies stay under it's area of attack. It can also be used as an area attack whilst in a chokepoint. Spinning Pole serves as an opener to allow Saitam to get to a chosen single target quicker. His passive allows him to traverse any terrain including the sea towards chokepoints to assist against tough foes and silence spellcasters from casting their abilities. Saitam is a melee physical hero that excels in lowering the defenses of all enemies in the map, and silencing a targeted enemy.Saitam can ride on a cloud when travelling far distances, allowing him to fly over the sea in Port Tortuga, Storm Atoll and The Sunken Citadel.Requires at least 5 targets to trigger.ĭIVINE NATURE (1/2/3 hero points) ( passive):Ĭhanneling his divine energy, Saitam gains 3/6/9 life regeneration per second. While channeling, he cannot attack enemies, but is still targetable. Invoking his Godly Fury all enemies* receive 25% / 45% / 65% extra damage for 5 seconds (6 seconds on Steam/Android). With an ancient technique, stuns an enemy for 1/2/3 seconds and silences it for 5/10/15 seconds.ĪNGRY GOD (2/2/2 hero points) (cooldown: 45 seconds): MONKEY PALM (1/1/1 hero points) (cooldown: 15 seconds): With a flurry of fast and powerful strikes, deals 110/180/260 damage to an enemy. TETSUBO STORM (2/2/2 hero points) (cooldown: 20 seconds) (Physical damage) (Physical area damage) *: incorrectly described in game. Requires 2 targets at a minimum to trigger. Spins his dual Tetsubo dealing 32/69/108 damage* to all enemies around him. SPINNING POLE (3/3/3 hero points) (cooldown: 20 seconds): But even when battle gets tough, Saitam keeps his sharp smile and a positive attitude… Only the smartest of his enemies knows that this actually makes the Monkey God a force to be reckoned with. As the real guardian of the temple, he will fight tirelessly to cleanse the corruption cause by the evil outworlders. Saitam the Mighty Monkey God has offered to help restoring the natural balance of his sanctuary. A joyful force of good with a bit of a mischievous side, the Monkey God will make you pay if you mess with his sacred grounds.Įither jump aside or tag along, but don’t get in his way. Quick to laugh, quick to anger, quick to forgive and even quicker to beat his enemies.
